Gretchen Parker, Co-chair and Advisor at Pearl IRB, will speak at the 2018 American Medical Writers Association (AMWA) Indiana Chapter Conference. The AMWA conference will be held April 20-21, 2018 at the Eli Lilly Technology Center North Campus in downtown Indianapolis, Indiana.

The investigator’s brochure functions as the main reference document for clinical trials. The IB provides investigators with the information needed to understand possible risks or adverse events related to the investigational product and keep sites informed about study date. Yet, IBs are customarily lengthy, complex documents that are rarely read completely or consulted when questions arise. How can a writer effectively aid in the optimization of this essential document?
The two-day conference is open to everyone interested in medical communication. Registration is free but must be completed by April 12, and the event is limited to 150 participants.
