Pearl IRB is proud to announce its recent reaccreditation by the Association for the Accreditation of Human Research Protection Programs (AAHRPP). The Final Site Visit Report was reviewed by the AAHRPP Council on Accreditation during its December 2017 meeting. The Council awarded Pearl IRB Full Reaccreditation. The full reaccreditation reflects Pearl IRB’s continued demonstration of extensive safeguards in all levels of research operations and abidance to high standards of excellence for all research.
Pearl IRB was first granted AAHRPP accreditation in December 2014, further distinguishing the uniqueness of the company. Pearl IRB remains part of an elite group of 21 commercial-independent IRBs in North America who hold this prestigious designation.
To earn AAHRPP accreditation in 2014, Pearl IRB completed a voluntary, peer-driven process and provided evidence that our policies, procedures, and practices reflect a commitment to scientifically and ethically sound research as well as continuous improvement.
