NIH has launched a new website to increase public awareness for clinical trials. Click here to view the site. Research has shown that the lack of general knowledge about clinical trials is one of the biggest challenges in recruiting study volunteers. The website includes a good basic Q&A section, first-hand accounts from participants, and links to sites where people can volunteer for available trials. Visit http://www.nih.gov/health/clinicaltrials/basics.htm to learn more. For further information, check out a recent Pharmatimes article.
